We can connect your gas cooker, adjust it, pressure-test it and register it with the gas authorities.

We are authorised to install both gas cookers and gas hobs – correctly, safely and in line with current regulations.

Authorised installation of gas cookers and gas hobs

At Din Hvidevare Service we are authorised to install both gas cookers and gas hobs. We make sure the work is carried out correctly, safely and in line with current regulations – all at a fixed, fair price.

Authorised gas fitter – peace of mind from start to finish

Our authorised gas fitter handles the complete connection of your gas appliance to the existing installation. The price covers:

Removal of the old cooker
Changing the jets (if necessary)
Leak test
Burner adjustment
Final registration with the Danish Safety Technology Authority

Please note that the price excludes any new jets and gas hose if these need replacing. Jets are usually included when you buy a new gas cooker.

Changes to the installation – when adjustments are needed

If the gas installation needs changing, for example if the connection has to be moved or extended, we can of course help with that too. Changes must be made in the same room as the cooker and are carried out at a fixed price – including materials such as pipes and fittings. The price excludes new jets and gas hose if these need replacing.

Replacing the gas hose

If the flexible gas hose needs replacing during installation, this is not included in the standard price.

If it is a completely new installation or larger changes, we will be happy to prepare an estimate. Contact us for an assessment.

Is your cooker not adjusted correctly?

Does your cooker produce soot, burn with flames that are too large or too small, or does the flame go out? This is usually because the cooker has not been fitted with the correct jets or adjusted properly.

If your cooker has already been installed but without correct adjustment, we can help.

Important when buying a new gas cooker

When you buy a new gas cooker, adjustment and jet replacement are not covered by the statutory right of complaint. You must arrange this yourself. It is important that the appliance is correctly adapted to your gas supply – it must not simply be connected without adjustment.

Removal of your old gas cooker

When we install a new cooker, we can offer to take away the old one. This just needs to be agreed in advance.
