A technician visit isn't always necessary – in some cases you can fix the problem yourself. Go through the checks below, and if these tips don't help, you're welcome to contact us for service.
You can check the following yourself
- Is the plug properly inserted in the socket?
- Has a fuse blown?
- Is the temperature selector set between 1 and 3?
- Has the condenser behind the fridge/freezer been cleaned?
- Is there enough air around the fridge/freezer?
- Is the fast-freeze button pressed in? (usually a yellow light)
Find the type and serial number
The model and serial number may be on a label behind the vegetable drawer in your fridge or under the fridge light.
Safety — stop here
